WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Jerome L. Taylor Trucking, Inc. ("JLT"), a leading independent provider of commercial waste and recyclables collection services in the Washington DC metropolitan region, announced the closing of a $75 million syndicated credit facility led by Flagstar Bank, N.A., with WesBanco Bank, Inc. participating in the financing. The transaction closed on July 31, 2026.

The financing provides growth capital to support the construction of JLT's planned 50,000-square-foot materials recovery facility, and advance other growth initiatives and strategic projects, including a planned solid waste transfer station.

Flagstar, one of the largest regional banks in the country, acted as Administrative Agent and Lead Arranger. WesBanco's participation builds on a banking relationship with JLT spanning more than 20 years.

"This closing brings to fruition a lifelong dream that began with my father in 1970," said Jerome L. Taylor, President, CEO and Founder of Jerome L. Taylor Trucking, Inc. "He built this business on hard work, dependable service and a commitment to the people and businesses of Washington, D.C. Today, our team is carrying that vision forward on a scale he could not have imagined more than five decades ago. This financing gives us the resources to build modern recycling and transfer infrastructure, continue growing our collection business, create opportunities for our employees and invest in the communities that have supported JLT from the beginning. I am grateful to Flagstar for believing in our vision and to WesBanco for standing with us for more than 20 years."

Founded in Washington, D.C., JLT traces its roots to 1970, when James L. Taylor established the family waste collection business that would become today's JLT. Under Jerome Taylor's leadership, the company has grown into a regional waste and recycling platform serving commercial, industrial and government customers across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. JLT provides front-load, rear-load and roll-off collection, compactor service, single-stream recycling, construction and industrial waste services, and technology-enabled customer service and collection verification.

JLT's planned recycling facility will incorporate advanced sorting and baling technology designed to process up to 50 tons per hour. The company's planned solid waste transfer station is expected to provide 24-hour access and capacity of up to 2,000 tons per day, strengthening regional waste and recycling infrastructure while supporting JLT's continued expansion.
